Laptop DC Jack repair Phoenix Arizona
Is your laptop no longer charging? Have you replaced your charger and still can’t charge your laptop? Your charger may not be the issue, often, the Jack inside the laptop that your charger plugs into can break loose from your laptops motherboard, severing the connection to properly charge your laptops battery.
This commonly happens when someone trips over a laptop charger cord while it is plugged into the laptop. This “pulling” on the cord breaks the DC jacks soldered connection to the motherboard. The jack can have a smaller break at first allowing you to move the charger cord tip back and forth, sometimes allowing a connection. Eventually, the connection breaks for good.
This DC jack can be re-soldered to the motherboard. We currently are offering laptop DC jack repair in Phoenix and Glendale Arizona. This repair can save you the need of a new motherboard or replacement of the laptop. We will also test the charger to make sure it is properly working first. We only reccommend the use of factory made chargers, the aftermarket chargers have high failure rates, poor charging, and even safety issues.
